I'm not sure if I still qualify as a Northern Mainuh but I will probably make the trip up. A lot of it depends on how well they get on Friday. I can't handle going to another OT loss.

If you do make sure you have a ticket. I got mine two weeks ago from the U tick office and she said they only had a few left. The Civic Center has none.

Yeah, I got mine when they first went on sale. It will be interesting if the place actually is full, I'm surprised there would be so much demand given how empty most games are at the Alfond and Whitt.

I think it will be. It's a cheap and close opportunity for all the alum's/fans in So Maine to catch a game. Plus it's close to Durham as well. And it's UNH not the U18 team.

Re: UMaine Hockey 2014-15: The Road from Alfond to Boston

Heading to both. Plenty of seats remain for Friday's game, but with a UNH playoff football game in Durham Friday night, I doubt the place will be packed.

Re: UMaine Hockey 2014-15: The Road from Alfond to Boston

I posted that in the recruiting thread as well. Pretty sad when we're behind UConn, Merrimack, Northeastern and Vermont.

The Friday game is also on WBIN and Fox College Sports - Atlantic.

Dish Network has every Fox college sports but Atlantic.

Tomorrow night's game will be aired on Time Warner Cable (372).

Dish Network is garbage. I hope you are demanding huge refunds for all the stations they've dropped recently (Comcast SportsNet especially).

Comcast cable has all the FCS stations, so the game will be on 255.

A few tickets will be available for the Portland game tomorrow morning.

On the other hand, good sections are still available for the game in Manchester. Heck, there are some front row behind either net still for sale.

Oh well, we don't have to see the 60-loss Celtics on CSSNE...

That said I'm predicting a Maine sweep. They need it

Re: UMaine Hockey 2014-15: The Road from Alfond to Boston

Just noticed on my Dish Network that tonight's game is now listed on channel 451. Hope its still there at 7:00.

Re: UMaine Hockey 2014-15: The Road from Alfond to Boston

Hey you two fanboys, not very likely either of these teams is capable of winning two games in a row....:D Splitowski ;)

Re: UMaine Hockey 2014-15: The Road from Alfond to Boston

There are exactly two seats left for the game in Portland.

Section 1X, Row 17, seat 10
Section S, Row 18, Seat 1 (in the corner, against the wall)
