His experience is a good thing. I took the time to go to his first press conference when he was hired. I talked to him in Alfond parking lot before he stood up at podium to talk to reporters. I thought it would be a good hire. I realize the cupboard was bare and I see better players coming to Orono. After 5 years we see a middle of the pack HE team that beat BU once for there only win against a team above .500, that isn't much to get excited about if you ask me. Looking at his 5 years here I don't see much to think he is going to get the ship back on top. Maybe that's more than we can hope for ???

Yes. The only thing I might quibble with is that Red's first team was probably his most talented, and all those guys were Timmy recruits. The cupboard has been somewhat more bare since then.
Red has had 5 years here, and all he's done is to dig a deeper hole. I wouldn't extend him for love nor money.

I think this year’s team beats that team pretty comfortably. Swayman is much better and this year’s team has a lot better depth.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I do hope we see a couple guys develop into really good forwards or Red can recruit a few. I’d say it is the biggest thing this team is missing.
You are way off the rails, Blackie. So drunk as to be unintelligible most nights. Ask anybody.

You think forwards are what’s missing? I personally think even one true top
pairing, shut-down defenseman would put the team in the top four in HEA.

For years it has been goaltending and defenseman that were the weak spots on the team...but with Swayman in net that problem has been solved...but the d-man are still a weakness. You think forwards are what’s missing? I personally think even one true top

What happens when you have nothing to ***** about?
I know. ***** about me. ***** boy all you want.wont change a thing.
Shore’s so far superior to anyone on the ice in this hypothetical game.....no shot for this crew goalie or no goalie.
Actually I just looked it up and Marty Ouelette was still around Reds first year. So......yeah no shot.
