Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

Reminder: the top-seeded Maine women play Hartford today to punch their ticket to the NCAA's. 4PM on ESPNU.

What is the status of Adrian Holesinsky? Is he hurt? I have heard around the rink that he had a shoulder type injury {rumor mill only}...or is it that he just can't cut the mustard to play regularly..? More or less a next season player?

Battled injuries all year. Leg against Acadia. Shoulder later in the season. Will be interesting to see if he gets medical redshirt.

Maine women's started well but Hartford d causing issues. Maine women missing layups underneath isn't helping

I haven't seen Maine play this year but so far they are slow and small compared to Hartford .

I'm shocked at how easy Maine turns the ball over when pressured

Maine shooting really well to start 2nd half, Hartford cooled off some. Look for hartford to start pressing on D again

Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

Rossignol with a big answer three pointer. Gotta play good defense now.

Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

Maine up by 13 going into 4th. Good shooting by Maine , bad shooting by Hartford in 3rd. Hartford shot lights out in 2nd, not so much in 3rd. 22 for Maine needs very little room to get a shot off

Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

Don't let 5 from Hartford get going

Maine committing a lot of fouls, not good

Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

Maine standing around on offense
Lead down to 9 with 4 left

Thanks for the info, I look for him to be in the mix next season. Injuries aside hopefully.

Re: UMaine Black Bears 2017/18, Red dawn

up by 14 with minute left, nice win. I thought Hartford had them with that D but Maine figured a way around it. Really impressed with 22 Blanca Milan, she is good

Maine women bringing back some excitement back...B-Ball Team heading to the NCAA's and even though there season is done the Women's Hockey Team was a treat to watch during the season and in the Playoff series versus BU, game #3 was one for the ages....good Luck to the B-Ball Team. Great job girls..!
