UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Tough night out of town for Maine. At this point I think Id rather go to Chestnut Hill for the quarterfinals (assuming we make it), would rather avoid the scorching hot Michael Hrabal for UMass or a UConn team that just generally has Maine's number. Starts with getting the job done at Gutterson on Saturday against the collapsing Catamounts (0-6-1 in their last seven, giving up at least four goals in all seven of those games).

She's going to be a huge part of this Maine team going forward. She can shoot from distance or take it off the dribble.

Right now, I'm basking in the warmth of Maine spanking UHN yet again. Addy Smith had 35, 15 boards and 4 A, and Talon 16 (on 6-8 shooting).

Tune in on Monday at 6PM for the TBD matchup. Vachon has this team peaking right now, and The Show is a very distinct possibility.

Yeah getting to the Garden is not exactly a gauntlet. I'll take BC as well.....I think that Maine matches up best with them. Would be sweet to win in Chestnut Hill and knock the Eagles out of the NCAAs too.

Maine WBB is a machine.....9th straight year in the semis. Lala Woods is a baller....fun to watch and root for. Binghamton on Monday will be tough....there is bad blood between the teams as well.....should be a barn burner.

Uhn had one player who could make some offense. never seen so many bricks, bad passes, turnovers etc from one team.

No Matter, the hockey team is going to play another good team to get to Boston. Beat Vermont and play whoever.

I did make a hotel res at the citizen m (now marriott) for the tourney friday night game.
Its cancellable. 😉
Will see. If things do progress have to source tickets and amtrak ticks.
If they were to win friday the saturday ticks and hotel will be a scramble.
Last year the citizen m had same day cancellation which was great, now marriott is 2 days. 👎

Yepppp but boy can we win face offs and block shots! Plus our goalie will stand on his literal head all night every night! Like I said we need a hero.

While things can change, the current odds are that Maine will go to Conte in the 4/5 matchup. Booking a Boston trip is an extremely safe bet for Maine fans unless that dopey ginger behind the BC bench resigns before next weekend.

My comment was on the UHN womens BBall team not the hockey team :) They were at Orono getting killed by UMaine Women

I beleive the only other alternative is if we lose in Vermont and BU wins and we get jumped there as we do not hold the tiebreaker against BC

If we lose and Lowell loses i think then it gets mixed up at the bottom
