With the University wanting 7% cut in all departments how much will this affect Hockey?
They still have two more important games before the winter break. Even though Lindenwood is a team most of us haven’t heard much about, they are 17th in NPI. They are 8-4 in their last 12 which includes a split with Denver. So we can’t even overlook an independent.I agree coming back multiple times is a good sign, but don't let the result cover the symptoms. The play right now just isn't at the level it should be. Hopefully the winter break hits the reset button.
Doesn’t the hockey program turn a profit? I doubt they would need to be included in a cut like this. With the University wanting 7% cut in all departments how much will this affect Hockey?

Maybe they could cut DEI officers or something? There is likely more than 7% in each of these departments. Probably some departments more than in others. Desperate times call for logical measures.

You love brining your politics into these conversations.....want to talk about your Pedo Party?Doesn’t the hockey program turn a profit? I doubt they would need to be included in a cut like this.

Considering that the Alfond Foundation handed Barr a $6 million check a couple of months ago.....probably not at all. 7% of the athletic department's budget is about $2 million......$6 million should cover $2 million nicely. With the University wanting 7% cut in all departments how much will this affect Hockey?
I wasn’t. If anything I want the effed up politics to be dragged out of the University. Luckily that will actually cost the University less and they can keep, and continue to employ, professors that actually teach things… actual useful things.Stop dragging your effed up politics into this.
Maybe we need the Pedo Party out of DC so this country can function normally again.I wasn’t. If anything I want the effed up politics to be dragged out of the University. I’m fine with that too. You see, I like to get rid of costly useless things in general. It’s easier to not be political when you simply focus on cutting the burden on tax payers if the tax payers don’t benefit from whatever they are spending tax payer money on. You find you don’t need to identify yourself with either political side. In fact, you begin to distance yourself from both quite quickly. Hence being registered independent in my case. I only vote for spending if it benefits our local communities. That’s my politics.Maybe we need the Pedo Party out of DC so this country can function normally again.
