UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Ok my only complaint with the renovations - 50 mil on alfond and 170mil total or whatever - they couldn't come up with 100,000 to add bathroom capacity - especially with the beer now.
Oh well next time maybe.
The locker room under BB is usually unlocked and unoccupied during games and there is a bathroom in there.

Or so I've heard....

To 3-on-3 they go.

I say get Poirier and Fowler out there together with Peterson.

Put the smallest guys out there the ones that played well tonight and watch them buzz like a swarm of killer bees.

I’m so proud for Owen Fowler. Guy is our best penalty killer. He gives it all every shift. Hits relentlessly. Plays a mean 200 foot game. And makes smart plays with the puck. Then to top it off he makes plays with his line mates and gets an apple and a goal. Guy exemplifies hard work pays off.

And what about Poirier. He’s an absolute demon. Extremely dangerous. He may get hockey east rookie of the year at this rate. Stud.

Poirier was on fire tonight. He's going to be a terror for other teams all season long. I'm not sure Maine has ever had a player quite like him.

Proud of the team tonight, night and day compared to last Friday and it should be a good lesson for the younger guys on what it takes to win in hockey east. Worried about Boija but he’s earned the right to work through what he needs to, he still came up big down the stretch.
