Re: UMaine '18-'19: Back to the Nationals!

They are playing tough and proving it on the ice. They'll be a tough play all season long.

Re: UMaine '18-'19: Back to the Nationals!

All three of you are wrong, Jacksonville State University is in Jacksonville, Alabama.
And indeed I stand corrected...I mis-spoke on that one...penalty box 4 me..!....I swear I read they were from Georgia and I also thought one of the ESPN guys said it also...oh well....either team bring 'em on up to the Great State of Maine..!

Maine's home schedule all of a sudden looking very tough with lots of quality teams coming to Alfond!.....

#10 Quinnipiac x 2
#18 Princeton x 2
#4 UMass x 2
#9 Providence x 2

The two Princeton games are away. However, #13 Northeastern can be added to the home schedule in January.

I was in that Jacksonville early this year doing disaster relief work after they had a tornado. Hit right before the start of the semester and did a pile of damage to some university buildings as well as the rest of town. It was a nice little town, not unlike Orono in a lot of ways. A heckuva lot warmer, though! :D

Harasymiak coach of the year in the CAA. Is he at or near the end of his contract? Maine will have to come up with more money to keep him (and rightly so).

This is the third of a 4 year deal.....not good news for the Bears with UMass opening up. I think hell stay until something better than Amherst comes up but the timing is not great for us

Were I him I'd wait for a bigger name FCS job to open, then use that as a stepping stone into the lower level of FBS. Not sure what can be accomplished at UMass.

I agree re: UMass, but if I'm Coach H, I wait for a better FBS offer. If he has another year such as this one in '19, I suspect that will happen.

I am all in that he has done a good job THIS SEASON, but how about a few in a row...and I am all in on Coach H, but lets make a resume first before he hits I-95 out of Maine. Go Maine FB!!, and now this weekend take care of Business on the ice, last year Swayman took off after playing QU @ QU. Ranked and ripe for a rough weekend @ Alfond.
