UAH Hockey 2015-16: The next step

Re: UAH Hockey 2015-16: The next step

Any Chargers fans coming to The Great Land this weekend?

I will not be. I won't even get a chance to watch, as I have to get up pretty early both of the next two mornings to go to work. :(

This weekend is put-up or shut-up time. If there ever were must-win games, these are them.

Yes. It's pretty much sweep or bust. (By the way, UAH is 0-13 all time vs. UAA in Anchorage. :()

That is a trip I'd love to make someday, whether UAH is visiting or not.

If the Chargers are playing here it's a pretty good bet it'll be winter here. And someone will chime in saying they've been here in Oct/Nov and it was late fall. It's weather so no guarantees one way or the other. There's a whole different set of things to do and see in the winter from a summer trip so it's a good thing you would come outside hockey season. Two trips is the way to do it. Come when the Chargers are playing the Seawolves and the dump bears in the same trip. Then come up on a summer trip.

UAA is extremely banged up right now. This may be the year you get that egg off the stat sheet.

Well, you guys missed the earthquake! It was like a free roller coaster that you hoped would not kill you, just yet.

I have a hard time not seeing a split from this weekend, yeah you've never won up here but we are banged up and on a slide.

So... Back when UAH played Bemidji, I caught the Bemidji audio ...
They mentioned something about an on campus facility being considered for Huntsville.
Easy enough to dismiss as a rumor, but this thread is pretty slow, so what the heck...

Oh, it's always in the plans, waiting for someone to win the lottery and back the Brinks truck up to Shelbie King. Not paying rent to the VBC would be helpful, to say nothing of de-conflicting with the Havoc. (Although we still better try to play nicely together on scheduling.) But I think that the overall budget for the program is the greater near-term priority.

That's what I was thinking. But then read that UAH bought a small park next to the ball diamonds. my more immediate problem is whether to finish watching the BGSU Miami game or switch to UAH in a few minutes.

UAH has land on the south side of campus to do it.
