No. 10/11 Denver (10-7-3) hosts Alabama-Huntsville (1-21-1) in nonconference action on Friday-Saturday, Jan. 6-7. Puck drop at Magness Arena (6,026) is set for 7:37 p.m. on Friday and 7:07 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be broadcast live on Denver's Sports Station 102.3 ESPN and webcast on Pioneer Vision at DenverPioneers.com. Live blog, audio and stats can be found at DenverPioneers.com.

Injury update - Brittain, Beau Bennett, Ryder and Makowski out. Wade Bennett will probably be in for Makowski and Adam Murray will likely back-up Jussi in goal tonight and start on Saturday.

Per Gwoz, Makowski having headaches which at this time they don't know the source. Will not play this weekend and will continue to be tested over the weekend and into next week. Not allowed to work out.

Not a bad period but DU needs to kick it up a notch to put UAH away.
