uaa @ UAF March 4 & 5 … Why? …Because it really is never too early.

Good on ya Suze!!
You're not making excuses you're stating facts.
I'd like to add the question of how many 1 goal games where one puck bounce our way would have changed the outcome?
Including last night!
These are the right guys and the right coaching staff to move our team forward.
I'm with you and this team.
It's a great day to be a Seawolf!
I'm ok with coach. I'm ok with the players. It's the attitude of the program I'm not happy with.

We did sweep the Baby Boston Bruins back in December...

And they won the MacNaughton Cup while we're fighting for the final playoff spot.

We've beat Minny, we can beat MTU.

First we just have to beat UA_.

Thomas sounds a lot more upbeat, Duwe out (banged up). Conti in.

Talk about disrespectful, my kid and my friends kid were holding up a sign during warm ups as our seats are in the area where the opposing teams warm up at (they are 4 and 8) that said "who got the cup, we got the cup" and Tatchell PURPOSELY threw a puck over. Not in the cute way over the glass for a kid but from almost behind the net hit it with his stick and it landed in my friends lap just maybe a foot or so away from the kids. Several other seapup S also hit the glass more than in a friendly way in front of where the sign was on the glass. The players seem to share the frustration that jimmyjam does.

We lost fair and square.

Tuttle was ****ing harsh on the refs tonight, good on him for calling them out for non-calls and being confused the entire night.

Tuttle mentioned some UA_ fans were throwing stuff onto the UAA bench, that ain't cool regardless if it happened or not.

UAF! UAF! UAF! Do you still not see the irony?

Applaud the ladies with the painted bellies who were correctly representing your sports teams: UA.

Something something bringing a sign that incites a reaction something something...

So your players aren't strong enough to ignore a sign being held by kids?
I guess I can see why you're so irritated with your team.

I thought it was only the fans and media that hype up the rivalry? If that was going to be your excuse for their reactions...

Just finding the irony in someone who thought I had no excuses being upset because I brought an "inciteful" sign, being upset because they brought an "inciteful" sign.

BTW nice to see we got into another worthless scrum after the game. Kozun got a Game DQ, don't know if he sits first game next season.

Tuttle was ranting about the refs after the game too. Sorry but UAA lost all this way back in December with two lazy games against UAF at home. Or losing that home game against Lake State. Or the two against Bemidji. Or against Huntsville. The 0 for the century on the PP in one goal games?

Or tl;dr we weren't good enough this season and had no business being in the playoffs.

We're slow and can't score PPG's... Best fix those or it's curtains.

Listening to the AD being interviewed by Tuttle between periods leaves me more worried for the program from the AD's axe than anything that happens on the ice.
UA_ is at the NCAA minimum of 10 teams and appears to be safe from any cut.
UAA at 13 means something will probably get cut and the easiest way to get the $ number down is most likely the hockey program.
I hope I'm just being a nervous Nellie but it's a very scary position the clueless woman from NP has put us in.

I assume there's gotta be a severence fee for leaving the WCHA, regardless of the circumstances. This is one of the reasons the Hawaii football hasn't been cut.

If any teams get cut, it's gonna be the teams that have been in the red the past 5/10 years. Even though the track/cross country/gymnastics teams have been doing great how much money do they bring in? The hockey team has got to be closing in on the red if they haven't already with the dwindling attendance.

Pretty sure hockey's been losing money for a while. But a huge supporter of athletics told me basketball was losing money too, which was a shock.
