So let me get this straight... donald won't be here to tell us how living alaska trumps all? I guess the statuesque landscapes of chicago will make him forget about anchorage.

Well, I'm sad about the news. Though I'm sure the dude hates my guts now, I will say that Donald produced some great content for that blog. He was a loose cannon, but that was part of what made that blog so great. He was running "The Howard Stern Show" of college hockey blogs, and he was darn good at it.

That, and back when I had my blog, Donald did a great job putting together thought-provoking content as a guest contributor. He was always willing to lend a hand and help out, and I was pretty grateful for that.

I wish nothing but the best for the guy.

Fixed the date. You got me there. But alas, no, I am not 'The Donald', just a long time reader of his blog. If Donald had actually penned that
it would have been far more entertaining and better written.

While I can appreciate the reasons that Alaskana started this thread; I could have told him that such a thing in this joint would mostly end badly.

Indeed, Donald. Although to be perfectly honest, given the choice bits I re-posted from your blog I thought the reaction would have been far more swift and severe. Either way, I figured if I didn't rile some fur my post would have been an abject failure. :D
