Only change in lines from last night is Brown in for Van Allen.
Brown has certainly shown to be capable this season.
Anyone have input as to why Van Allen is out?

The guys have some real jump in em today.
Weak call on Coldwell then a total screw up after killing 4:38
Minus the penalties things are looking good

Like Geoff said, it's a lack of puck possession. You spend the whole game chasing the puck, you don't get shots, you don't score, and you lose.

You say "their losing but didn't give up!" Which is fine. Except, it's easy to look like that when you're down 0-4 and the other team has shut down. What about the previous 50 minutes? That's why folks like me have written this season off. This is team is, flat out, not good enough. And beyond Mantha, I don't see it getting better next season.

The guys get home today and have a week to regroup and then take on the Huskies of Michigan Tech.
The Thursday evening 6:00pm Coaches Corner radio show live from the Alaska Airlines Center should be a good one.

I actually do see it getting better next season. Our freshmen and sophmores are coming along nicely. To be blunt, our seniors just aren't leading or getting the job done this season. I think next years seniors will have more of a will to win. Heck, coach said our best players are our freshmen, what does that say about the juniors and seniors?

We have solid netminders and we have talent coming in next season. As is always said about a new coach, give him a chance to get his own guys in there. This is just his second season and he took us to the Final Five in his first, there is way too much criticism of the coach, if you ask me. Heck, Shyiak got a ton of passes, so did Hill.

Yeah, this season isn't on Thomas. It was expected to struggle as this always happens in a coach's second year. It's on the seniors and the juniors to some extent.

Wow, Starbucks is now the defining characteristic of "civilization"? Obviously you really haven't been to the MacInnes, since there is a Starbucks in the SDC about 150 feet from the rink. :rolleyes:
