Tech sweeps, our guys have mailed it in. I was at the friday CC Game, and it seems like they were ok with settling for a tie or a loss then going for the win. How many more games until the season's over? or better yet, how many days til march madness?

Is there any TV or Internet coverage for these games? If so, I can't find it. And Kurt won't be at the game to bring us his excellent play by play. :(

Denver came down for Carny '07. Tech won handily on Friday night. Later that night, Mu Beta Psi (co-ed musical fraternity that often runs alongside the Pep Band) held a concert featuring a musician friend of the fraternity at a local hotel bar to raise money for a scholarship. One of the hotel clerks went by with a tray loaded with ice cream. One of the Psi folk inquired about it, at which point the hotel clerk informed them it was for the Denver hockey team who was staying at said hotel. Apparently Gwozdecky had bought them all ice cream to soothe their butthurt.

2 AM Wal-Mart run ensues. Next night cue tubs of Ben and Jerry's on fishing poles and a mass exodus of the Pep Band loudly eating ice cream behind Denver's goalie. (There was also a rumor about one of the players punching a hole in the wall of his room. Might not have been true, but didn't stop us from running with it.)

That was so disgusting I can't even begin to describe it.

Congrats to UAA for capitalizing on our utter stupidity and lack of passion.
