UAA at Minnesota State: The "Designated Rival" Series...

Re: UAA at Minnesota State: The "Designated Rival" Series...

I do believe that was the very worst I have seen my Wolves play all season. Hopefully they play with passion next weekend, cause they sure didn't have it tonight.

I didn't actually see the game so I can't speak to UAA's performance tonight (despite the obvious), but I will say that a win against Bearflanks next weekend will mean a whole lot more to me than what happened tonight.

Having said that, well played Mavs.

Does Hastings go with Huggins again tonight? Or does Williams get another chance to break out of his sophomore slump?

So, what were your thoughts on his performance? I think a "C" would be a kinda generous grade for Willy, but I'm never satisfied with goaltenders.

None of the goals Gundy allowed were his fault. First one was a pp goal, the last two were bad passes behind the net

Yes, our D looked pretty bad, they didn't help either goalie out much. I'm sure the coach will have them ready for the Gov Cup series though!

He still looked shaky, but at least the first goal wasn't his fault. The defense hung him out to dry on that one, with no defender in the passing lane or anywhere near the eventual goal scorer.

I think he gets one more chance; two weeks from now in Huntsville. If he can't get it right by then, it's entirely Huggins' job, and Williams will play spot duty here and there.
