Tony! Tony! Tony!

Beau peeps one in--3-1. UAA calls time out. Just great hands by Bennett.

Re: UAA at Denver - Saturday 11/22/11

End of one: DU 3 UAA 1. Seawolves carried the action for about the first 15 minutes or more. DU turned on the jets at the end and really had 'em back on their heels. Bennett's goal was the kind of thing we've been expecting from him. Great hands. Great puck control. Bang. If that kid gets hot the way JZ and Shore have been and DU could be a team to reckon with. Remember last year how Jumbo came on in the second half.

Wow!!! I turned on the TV when it was still 1-0 Alaska. Within seconds, Mermis scored and so on and so on. I'm thinking maybe I'm good luck tonight!

Re: UAA at Denver - Saturday 11/22/11

Mermis is from Alton, Illinois. A town better known for its great track teams. Way down south, I mean way down south.

I hope so.

Still UNO 0 UND 0 start of 3rd

UMD 3 MTU 0, UMD sweeps and shuts out MTU for the weekend. UMD 1 point ahead of DU at the moment.

Need some ice? DU78 sent me a truck full. UAA's gotta be asking themselves what does it take? They dominate almost all of a period, have a one goal lead, then quicker than you can say, ccsucks, it's 3-1. Happy to see at least one of the Zambonis is decked out in official DU colors: purple and white. What?

Honest to God, I wish there was a way for Tech to get better. I fear for a variety of reasons, they've fallen and can't get up. it's a shame.

Dmann it must be frigid up there tonight. We are heading into the single digits here tonight.

Re: UAA at Denver - Saturday 11/22/11

UNO 1 UND 0 15:45 left in 3rd

Those guys are playing really well, and we've got 'em at the Big O, right? When I was working in Omaha there were nights when both the Lancers and the Mavericks were playing, in front of SRO crowds. UNO started out playing in an old downtown auditorium building, while the Lancers were playing in the now torn down Ak-Sar-Ben Arena (Nebraska spelled backwards). Total crowds over 15K

I remember all those great 70s Tech teams and watched them in the '76 NCAAs at DU.

Helping Tech set a school record winless streak of 20. Yes, TWENTY.

Tech has gone 202:27 without a goal. They will pass the current record of 231:20, set in 2005-06, at the 8:53 mark of the second period of their next game.
