ECHL should not even be a factor. Many players that can play there don't want to. Percentage numbers for the AHL are small and chances for the NHL are about 1.5% of all players in the world and figure in the politics. In my opinion, hard to use your progression numbers to make a team competitive. Bemidji 0 draft picks and first in the WCHA, University of Michigan always loaded with draft picks and have struggled to make the playoffs, 2015 Union beats University of Minnesota who is loaded with draft picks.

Yes, but your coaches developing you so that they can play in the AHL or NHL is definitely desired by players.

Yes, you said it. First you have to have a coach.

And a campus and full funded program that players want to play for instead of who's looking for unknowns. He has one of the hardest sells of any college
coach.

That is probably true, but the fact remains he was extremely successful his first season, with Shyiaks recruits, so it can be done.

And budget been wacked almost every year since then .
Every coach looking at a recruit will show you the plus minus of why they are the best fit and show the glaring minus’s side of anybody else who is showing interest and UAA has the longest list of things their players and programs doesn’t receive or never will in the near future with the save the village mindset of the BOR.

That’s if they last the budget process in Juneau, I am sure UAC’s home girl Tammy Wilson will do her best to make sure that doesn’t happen.

She's not even on the committee anymore. Nice try though.

Everybody but UAA and UAC. we already knew they didn't.

I'm not saying this info is incorrect, but where did you get it from? I can't find anything about who is awarding cost of attendance stipends - not since this was talked about in 2015. Back then, only 22 of 60 schools were planning on giving the stipend. 7 had not decided yet. So where did you get your information from?

The "will they or won't they survive" has disrupted at least two recruiting classes for both Fairbanks & Anchorage. It's had a smaller effect outside that as well.

If UAA hockey is put on the chopping block (again I don't think so because of various reasons I've listed dozens of times) again, I don't know if we will see the support like last summer.
