Nanooks respond quick with a shot off the goal post that Ellingson covers quickly. Still 1 - 0 Wildcats.

Higby is currently back in the locker room for the 'Cats. Won't return and is now listed as day-to-day. This year's Wildcat squad is quite accustomed to being shorthanded this season.

It's being reported that Higby was hit by a Nanook just prior to the Daugherty "Boarding" penalty and is on his way to MGH.

Way to go CCHA refs. :rolleyes:

Lots of nothing to report. Back and forth play for the first four minutes of the game. 15:52 to go in the game, and NMU takes an icing call.

It sounds like we're starting to hit the end of our energy. Might play into UA_'s favor with their slow start.

And now NMU takes a penalty giving UA_ their fourth Power Play of the night. Nanooks now giving decent pressure. 1:30 to go in the Power Play, 10:20 to go in the game.

I hear we got the cream of the crop in zebra's for tonight's game. Sergott and Berkebile. :rolleyes:

Now they spend almost a minute discussing an icing and making sure that the Wildcats have the same players on the ice.

Florek and Epp had a great rush going, but the puck rolled off Florek's stick on the pass breaking up the play.
