I would dare to say the confidence factor is GONE from Ouellette's game. I won't be surprised to see Sullivan start for a period of time...

So what was the final score ??

Re: U Maine 2011-2012 Season (thread created when Maine was at .500) Thread

Ouellette with another bang-up job tonight.......3 saves and 2 goals allowed in the 1st......game tied 2-2 with North Dakota and Wisconsin recruits scoring goals.

and the skill levels of most of the under 18 boys...compared to the senior Monarchs, MAN!!! just wait till they can skate at D1 speed!

Still don't see the point in scheduling the U-18s... It ain't like they're gonna be wowed by the dwindling crowds at the Alfond, and tear up their LOIs to Minnesota and Michigan.

(I will admit that some of those kids are fun to watch, though, as in "can't-miss" talent.)

May have been 1000 there tonight.
Attendence in the Box Score: 3783....according to the online feed it was at a roughly 1500 to just under 2000....either way its a who care's fact today. Weather/Thanksgiving/Teams Poor Play and the dis-TASTE for TW can all be factored in. Happy Thanksgiving.

I would bet with a NEW Bench Boss he would play the USA U18 Team...checking out where these players come from and with any luck plucking a player or two every other year (remember a certain kid by the name of Jimmy Howard). My take on this game is they are allowed to dress everyone to play...I would just go with the usually amout allowed (18 skaters/2 goalies) and let the Vets rest and play all the new recruits and players that don't see alot of playing time...give them playing time and the game result is no factor...if you lose you lose...its seeing what you have in case of injurys and to figure beyond (just imo).

Timmay pulled Marty again, Wow

How on earth can the coach say that the goaltending is way ahead of where it was last year? Lets face it, those two are no better, especially Marty.

I sure can't wait to see a goalie with Morris' skill come in next year and have the life sucked out of him by Count Whitehead... err, Coach Whitehead I mean.

Jimmy played great for the Red Wings today, got interviewed after the shootout and talked about great memories playing for Maine and the Natl Championship game in the Garden.
