Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

And I would still have to pay for tickets, hotel, food and drinks for two nights. Which doesn't help my money problem.

I'm pretty sure Dustin, Yager, and I don't mind havin a mooch along with us. I mooch off you boys all the time, so I can pitch in to help ya out, I'm pretty sure I owe you anyways... It'll be fun! Seriously, have Yager pick ya up. I know you don't wanna miss the fun. See you tomorrow! :p

He probably just doesn't want to tell us that he has better things to do than hang out with us for the weekend. :p

How much more awesome is Rochester than Mankato?? I'd probably pick Kato over Rochester this weekend :)

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Rochester has a water tower that looks like a giant cob of corn

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Maybe he plans on getting cancer this weekend. In that case, I'd stay in Rochester too.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned that part already:
Isn't Mankato like an 1 3/4 hours away? What's the hold up?
I can watch hockey with you ***holes anytime. I don't get a lot of chances to see people from Rochester, especially since I spend my summers in Houghton.
:p

There is no other place in the world I'd rather catch the cancer...

Not much at all, Rochester sucks because they have an extra city sales tax.
I'm pretty sure I mentioned that part already::p
Yeah, but we don't take you seriously. :p

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

In his cancer defense, you are probably more likely to catch cancer in Kato, specifically Metler's...

Any way, heading out to Kato in a few minutes!!!

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Dear god no, why would you recommend that to anyone?!

One person yuck is another person's beauty. I like the drive, it's very scenic to me. Bismarck and Mandan is a nice area and it's just 30 miles west.

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

You should drive down I94 in North Dakota, at New Salem this is a giant Holstein cow by the side of the road.

There's a giant cow on a trailer outside L'anse that I've driven by a bazillion times on the way to and from Ho-ton

Hey far be it from me to realize what beauty is :) :D :p

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Looking forward to Mankato!

I need some Chipotle and a hockey fix. Whatever team loses the series will spell more musty than the other in the WCHA cellar.

Tech should really work on the PK...

How is the Mankato PP and PK?

Having flown over the state to Bismarck...scenic is not how I'd describe it. Finding towns along the way can be difficult, and one could get lost rather easily if they didn't know what they were doing.

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Good win for the Mavs on Friday. Pretty solid effort. It seemed like it took Tech about half the game to get started, but played pretty well save for some stupid trips to the box to kill their momentum.

Mavs need to not let off the gas on Saturday and come away with 4 points at home this weekend!

Sounds the same as just about all our games so far this year. I know its cliche, but we need to play a full 60 minutes and stay out of the farking box!
