My one complaint about Blacklist. I realize it's TV, but I think they have too cute of endings considering they're foiling (yes I know fictional) events that could be globally catastrophic. I'd rather see them do 2-3 episode story arcs that IMHO would be more climactic and (again I realize fictional) believable.

I think that is coming...remember they are on NBC they probably assumed since they werent an overrated comedy that no one watches they would get cancelled :D

Supernatural was hysterical the other night.

Each episode of Crazy Ones I watch, I'm more convinced that Robin Williams takes a bit away from the story and rest of the characters in the show. May be better without him.

Red John stuff is getting dumb. And now as hinted at a couple of weeks ago it's going to get even dumber.

Agreed. Although I'm a little suprised they narrowed down the field to 3 so quickly. I'm thinking they might identify him soon and spend most of the season chasing him. Or the focus will switch back away from Red John and only put a minute or two of that story line in the episodes for a while.

I'm not sure it's down to three. The whole premise of the tattoo thing was sketchy to begin with and now with three of them having it I'm not so sure they won't doublecross us somehow.

One of the HBO channels ran Band of Brothers yesterday, and today is running The Pacific.

The Blacklist was a fun episode...but next week looks epic

I rather enjoyed Ted and Marshall rooting for the Washington Generals. Thought it was a little too perfect that Barney met the mother months ago and she was the one who set him straight about Robin.

Agreed. They're trying to tie some of these bows a little too tight.

It's very cutesy, but I'll give them a pass on it because they've got to figure out a way to develop the mother's character enough to give her meeting Ted some kind of emotional weight, and I think they've done a really good job of that so far. It's not easy to integrate a character like that into a show, but she's been enjoyable.

Am I the only one who thinks the actress is the spitting image of Alyson Hannigan with brown hair?

A lot of people have said that same thing. The resemblence is uncanny.

I thought it was perfect when they met she blows him off in her own way and then he moves on and tries to pull "have you met Ted" except Ted isn't there. That seemed like enough of a connection between her and Ted via Barney. What they did with her is fine, but I get the sense that its too much. Then again, stuff like that works for other shows? Why does the interlacing of characters work so well in breaking bad yet here it seemed forced?
