I just think it's too obvious. They want you to think she is, but that's the most obvious cliche in the book, so I don't think she will be.
This isn't Missing.
Fine. Technicality. My current comp sucks for vids.
It being too obvious has crossed my mind, but maybe they want you to think it's too obvious to throw you off the trail!!![]()

I really wish this show was on another night. I keep forgetting about it on Wednesdays. I'll have to catch the re-run on Tuesday. Again. The Americans is starting to go full bore, which holds to my theory they were prepared to have this a one season show. Can't have a full first season of slow burn, usually. Despite it working for some shows, most of the time it just doesn't work. It'll be interesting to see what happens next season, how they deal with the nuances of the main plot.

I never watch the previews because I like to go into the episode without expectations or trying to fit in the scenes used to the next episode. The previews co*tease you, to be honest. There's some things that are not in this particular episode.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. There are a lot of layers building around what Phillip and Elizabeth's relationship actually is, and what they're trying for it to be, and it makes for fascinating TV. Probably one of the best first seasons I've seen in a while. The Americans is starting to go full bore, which holds to my theory they were prepared to have this a one season show. I could've gone without most of the Stan/Nina plot, if only because it makes Stan look so flimsy. While the marital issues are burning in the background for him, it was still almost laughable to see his one-sentence resistance to his d-bag co-worker's suggestions quickly give way to a Nina booty call. I wouldn't doubt that there are porn movies with more logical and nuanced decision making. Did he go undercover with the white supremacists as a choice or because some blowhard gave him two drinks and told him to?
Not to mention the way he used an incredibly valuable asset. Nina is the first Soviet source they've had in 24 years and he risks a meeting with her so they can sleep together? That seemed way too forced. How did it suddenly get so easy to meet her when they've portrayed it as next to impossible at other times. Almost like I was watching James Bond instead of a supposedly serious TV show. I agree that it makes Stan look weak...really did not like that sequence...although any excuse to have Nina walking around naked does have merit
Psyche was brilliant the other night.
Truth!
Does anyone watch Shameless? What a weird and hilarious show! I am almost caught up and when Sheila, Jody and Karen go to the Down Syndrome support group and the kids wit DS want to take ack the word "retard" I nearly ****ed myself laughing
