I hope their run continues, it certainly is one of my favorite channels to watch. It was a great finale, they did a wonderful job of tying things up without making it feel cheesy.

Well Royal Pains is still going and that is pretty good plus White Collar and Suits. I dont watch Covert Affairs or that new one about the undercover group but I hear good things...

I watch Covert Affairs. It is just fluff compared to most of the other shows I watch, but somehow it keeps me entertained enough to keep watching.

I watched the first few seasons and then just stopped...probably because it feels so fluffy as you say. I've stuck with White Collar, Suits and Burn Notice. Loved Monk, need to go back and watch Pysch. Certainly enjoyed the episodes I have watched. I've recorded Graceland and never watched it. Tried Necesary Roughness for a little bit and just never stuck with that one.

Probably the most satisfying series finale I have watched in years! They flat out NAILED IT!

I am gonna miss that show...USA has had a very good run of original series of late and this was one of the first. (along with Psych and Monk)

Psych is still one of the greatest shows. But with Maggie Lawson getting a spot on a network show for the fall, what does that do to her on Psych? I have to assume the show will come back next season.

Yeah they got another season I believe and the musical episode is coming soon :-D

I agree. I really liked how they did the last scene with Madeline (probably one of the biggest "Wait, what?" moments in the series), and the use of lines that have been on the opening sequence since the beginning. And while the ending was fairly predictable...I thought it worked well to tie up the series. Burn Notice has been my favorite show on TV (even with Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy) since it started and I will definitely miss it.

My TV is almost always tuned to USA, love that channel. I watched the first season of Graceland and thought it had a Burn Notice feel to it and will be watching season 2. I like the serious drama with splashes of light-hearted comic relief thrown in so to speak.

Not a true TV series per say, but if you have Crackle (though you can find it on youtube of course), watch Jerry Seinfeld's series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Hilarious

Lots of great comedians featured: Chris Rock, Brian Regan, Mel Brooks, Don Rickles, David Letterman, Ricky Gervais, Colin Quinn, Mario Joyner, Alec Baldwin, Joel Hodgson, etc and a very good one with Michael Richards where he reflects on his...problem...that day at that comedy club.

The Bridge was awesome this week and sets up very nicely for the next episode.

Will start a Homeland season 2 marathon tomorrow (although it will probably take me all week to finish) in anticipation for season 3.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

The Bridge has been excellent all season. Started off slow, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to keep going with it, but from about the fourth episode on, each episode has been better than the one before it. Although I don't think this week's topped the previous one, it was still great.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

I've liked The Bridge too. Recently it has gotten really good. I hope they're able to transition this into a storyline that can last multiple seasons without getting completely unbelievable.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

The Bridge has definitely gotten better. It's still pretty slow but the storyline picked up. My issue with the show is it's so quiet. I have to increase the volume more than usual.

Burn Notice season finale made me a little teary. Watched it from the beginning, I love Jeffrey Donovan. I met him at a Red Sox game a few years ago and he was really nice. It was definitely time to end it. It was well done. I thought they might be setting us up for a Sam and Jesse spinoff, though.

I enjoyed Graceland as well. Pretty people. USA type of action. Enjoyable.

Been loving Ray Donovan. I want to know what I was doing to completely miss the fact that Liev Schrieber is ridiculously hot. Tonight's episode is called Bucky Bleepin' Dent. Ha!

Some new Fall TV starts tomorrow. Sleepy Hollow starts on FOX. I may give that a whirl since nothing else starts till the week after. Brooklyn Nine Nine also starts next week. That has gotten some excellent reviews so I'm going to give that one a watch as well.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

Saw a commercial for Sleepy Hollow, it looked interesting, so I may give that a shot as well. Otherwise, I looked at the new season's shows on TV Guide.com and wasn't really too thrilled with any of them. Nothing plot wise looked too interesting, and not even a favorite actor or two to generate any interest.

Just saw a preview of the show. Not worried about losing her to it. It probably won't last more than a few episodes.

Credit where credit is due: Monk (2002) was years ahead of the rest (Psych 2006, Burn Notice 2007).

I really enjoyed the Burn Notice finale. Liked how they worked the lines from the intro into the script; Fiona's accent even came back a little bit! My one minor gripe is, if Michael and Fiona are officially dead in the eyes of the CIA (indicated by the funeral), how were they able to get custody of Charlie?

And, I would totally watch a Sam and Jesse spin-off. Maybe with more Barry; I noticed they had him at the funeral though he didn't have any lines.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

They changed identities a million times over the course of the show, I think they could do the same for Charlie. (or they adopted him under other names and had someone help them) I think they were setting up another Burn Notice movie myself. The Sam Axe one was awesome :)

And yes Monk came first...though I never got into it until it was almost over. I loved Dead Zone and wish it had lasted 1 more season. That reminds me of these commercials:

Hostages and The Blacklist look promising. I watched Sleepy Hollow last night. I'm kind of on the fence about it.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

Well, I'll be watching Sleepy Hollow. Not great, but looks like it'll be fun.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

I'm giving up on Ray Donovan for the same reasons I couldn't stick with The Sopranos. I have no interest in watching a show in which the lead character deserves to die and there's no one else for which to root. I'm not saying I require a lead character to be an angel and don't even mind unhappy endings, but Ray is a total ***** with zero redeeming value outside of providing a roof over his family's heads. At least Hannibal (and others) has a somewhat likeable foil.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

I see AMC is officially splitting the Mad Men finale into two parts, so they can milk it dry - 7 episodes in 2014, and 7 episodes in 2015. This trend is getting really old, really fast.
