Finished up S3 of The Wire tonight. So far, excellent show, but can't put it over BB quite yet. Still going to wait on the final judgement. I will say, it will be really interesting to see how the last 2 seasons go, given the massive change of direction that will have to happen, given the loose ends that were tied up in the last couple of S3 eps.

I watched the wire too, and never saw how it was supposedly better than B.B.
that said, season four of the wire is great.
Still not B.B. great though

We've been rewatching Community on Hulu. God **** seasons two and three were outstanding. The paintball episodes, the Dungeon and Dragons episode, the Law and Order ripoff, the Ken Burns spoof, solid gold tv.

I would quit now cause it gets awful after that...the last season and a half were pathetically bad.

That's too harsh. It does get spotty but there are still very good episodes.

X Files:

Campy Monster Of The Week episode. Injected a bit of political commentary, also. Ugh. The show evolved to something smarter than that, and while I don't mind the once-in-a-while camp ep, it's been a couple weeks now away from what it evolved into. And I didn't like the pol stuff, only because I watch shows like this to escape from the real world. Don't need to be reminded of it.

That being said, it was a decent MOTW ep, and glad to see that next week we get back to the main reason the show came back.

I thought it was hilarious. Yeah, the politics was a bit overdone, but Reggie was awesome. "I think my ride's here". And little Fox Mulder sitting on the couch watching the Twilight Zone. :D

But then again, I love the X-Files camp episodes.

I’ve watched the first four eps of Its the end of the ********** world on Netflix after hearing so many rave about it.

It’s good. Very British. Hard to stop watching and it’s hard to explain why.

Disney president Bob Iger said in a conference call that Lucas Film is developing multiple live action Star Wars series for the upcoming Disney streaming service. He provided no details but it has been widely reported that LF has more than 100 scripts for a TV show about the Coruscant underworld that never went into production. That would seem to be a natural for one of those series.

About halfway through S4 of The Wire. Total respect for Bubbles. He's a druggie and all, but he means to do right. This arc is really really good.

I almost respect Omar. Criminal, but has a code. I can appreciate a code, even if I don't agree with it.
