Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men
Started watching the Netflix doc "Departures" about two 27 year-old Canadian friends who decide to drop everything and travel for a year. Naturally, they're each having a "quarter-life crisis". Some people would look at the whole thing as a spoiled Millennial drunkfest, and at times I would be forced to agree, but it's still pretty entertaining. For instance, they get to Ascension Island and have difficulty getting any transportation, food, gas, or messages out to the mainland because businesses there keep such odd hours and technology is spotty at best. Or when they get to Japan, and one of them can't tolerate the traditional foods, so he more or less ends up subsisting on beer and junk food.
