Re: TV, or not TV, that is the question

A LOT of people have dumped a LOT of money into this.

I hope they find a huge treasure of some kind. Like the Templar Treasure or something like the Arc of the Covenant, so a Tech Alum is the one that finds the biggest treasure in history. :p

Netflix finally has Better Call Saul. I like it so far. 3 discs, am through 2.

The "Mike" episode....whoa.

The Mormons will be so happy if they find the Ark of the Covenant in Lake Superior.

Re: TV, or not TV, that is the question

Still worried, but a step in the right direction.

Noah Hawley, executive producer and writer of the hit anthology TV series based on the Coen brothers’ movie Fargo, has been tapped to write and executive produce the Cat’s Cradle adaptation as a limited series for FX.

If you haven't read CC stop whatever you're doing and read it now. When I heard it was in development hell I thought "good -- that was always going to be a tire fire anyway," but seeing as it looks like it's actually going to make it to the screen this at least tells me somebody with gray matter will be in charge.

uhm, the Tech Alum is searching Oak Island in Nova Scotia...but I do get the reference...nobobys looking for lost treasure on Beaver Island...

Finished Better Call Saul S1.

The bullet is always the finale. The trigger, as usual with series like this, is the 2nd to last ep. Wonderful ep.

Re: TV, or not TV, that is the question

I'm going to have to watch the Cheers episode "Thanksgiving Orphans" when I get home tonight. The whole episode is great, and the food fight just that much more. :)

That reminds me of something...on Halloween my gf and I watched the BAr Wars Episode of Cheers where Gary rigs things to play The Monster Mash (the one where Gary "dies" ) and because of a rights issue they had to switch the song. It totally ruined the episode :(

Not with that Mr. Sardonicus smile it's not. That's what you get when you tuck too much.

I dunno, she always had that sort of smile. Just not all the dried up pruney wrinkles to go with it.

Watching the SNL Thanksgiving special. Dying of laughter at the Ed Grimley sketch.
