TV, or not TV, that is the question

Re: TV, or not TV, that is the question

I watched Colbert interview Pres. Clinton last night, and the man just flat out sounds old these days. His voice had a reedy quality to it, coming off as hollow and showing him to be older than he is. I don't think he could make it through four years of Hilary holding the office, let alone a second term.

Doesn't he have heart problems?

I really think the BBC ****ed up big time.

Everything I read about the new BBC top gear sounds awful.

This Is Life With Lisa Ling:

Fluff. Carefully worded answers, anything that is incriminating is answered very ambiguously so you know they are hiding something. Nothing hard-hitting whatsoever. Pretty much what I expected. The MC isn't lying, but they aren't exactly forthcoming, and nothing she's doing is delving deep. It's the TV version of click-bait. Oh well.

To be honest I'm not sure I care to watch anything with Jeremy Clarkson ever again.

AMH Hotel looks promising.

He is not the Joker, he is a character that could be the Joker. The creators have basically said they are going to troll multiple possibilities of who the Joker is but probably never really show him since the Joker almost never has an origin. (and is worthless without Batman) The point is to show how a character like the Joker could come about in Gotham.

That said "Jerome" is awesome :D

Wow. That was an incredible way to deal with the Jerome story arc. I was pretty upset until that last scene. This is turning into a great season of television.

Narcos is really good. I do have a complaint though, and it is the pacing. They burned through about 8 years of story on Pablo Escobar in about 3 episodes, and are already within 3 years of his death. I feel like they've painted themselves into a corner, and will be stretching it out just to get 2 seasons. If it was paced better, the could have easily gotten 3 seasons with a story this interesting.

I would love if they branched out to the other cartels in the series. The Cali cartel has been introduced already...it'd be awesome if they could keep it going until the Los Zetas and Sinaloa cartels.

I think they would run into issues doing this kind of show on actively operating cartels. Both with getting accurate information and possibly backlash.
