Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Just watched the Justified season finale - excellent. That was a good season of television. Timothy Olyphant is sex on a stick. Looking forward to next season.

That's an excellent idea for a new MN State Fair food. I think it'd be painful to deep-fry it, though. :D

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Burn Notice, Psych, White Collar and a bunch of other shows beg to differ :D

One of these days I need to start watching Mad Men...
Hung is back in a few weeks too. :)

Breaking Bad finale? AWESOME.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

I just finished watching the first season of Californication this weekend. Good stuff. You know what you're in for with that show when the opening credits show the scene of Hank getting punched in the nose. :)

Is anyone else watching True Blood? Season 3 started last night. I'll be interested to see how they show the two-natured bar in MS, and if Debbie Pelt made it into the scripts.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

I'm watching True Blood. I was a little underwhelmed by the premiere.

I think my issue is so little happens in each episode that I like to watch several in a row.

Yeah, each season follows one of the Sookie Stackhouse books. The books are pretty short. That's also why you saw the show deviate from the book quite a bit last season (to that point, Lafayette died by this point in the book series). They've already deviated quite a bit in the first episode of this season.

Welcome to Californication. You'll really like the series. Unfortunately, season 3 isn't even out on DVD yet, and I believe they are done with season 4. And don't bother with the SHO site. They cut the cussing (which, IMO, is kinda essential to this series). Haven't checked out bootleg sites yet, although I really should.

And TBA: with tv shows I'm into, if I can watch 3-4 eps in a row, due to catching up or whatever, I will. If there's too much going on, I'm more apt to watch more, because I want to see what happens next.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Well yeah, but I just watched it. :p

Welcome to the show.

After last week's episode, I said to my buddy that I think it's pretty obvious to say that this show has about 1-2 seasons left before it ends or nukes the fridge/jumps the shark. Given the interview that EODS posted, I may be right.

Now, saying that, this show COULD last a couple seasons beyond that, if the budget (and therefore locations/etc) can be changed.

Either way, I can't wait until the next season.

Incorrect, they are still on hiatus after the Season 3 finale...and I have given you the web site to watch Season 3 on, and I just checked a few days ago everything seemed to be working.

JMH,

I did not like Hung...I tried to get into it but halfway through the season I realized I really didnt care what the story was or about the characters so I stopped watching. Anne Heche is unwatchable, the kids are annoying and the "pimp" is beyond annoying. :)

edit: holy crap Season 4 has started and is actually done! I need to find those episodes :D I will let you know when I do Brent :)

Told ya. And I know you gave me season 3 of BB, but I was not aware of the uncut Californication eps. :( :o

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Well the first time I gave you that site it was for Californication and told you they were uncut ;) Just sayin :p

Then I have some work to do. I do know that the link you provided was direct to BB. Just sayin'.

So far even the hackers dont seem to have Season 4 up...that is rather surprising as they have most episodes up an hour after the premiere of the episode. (that is how I watched the last few episodes of House since I was taping Chuck and How I Met Your Mother on the DVR) but not so much with Californication. I will keep digging...it is now a quest :D

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Filming for Californication's Season 4 just started two months ago. I would expect it to premiere in September, just as it did for Seasons 2 and 3, and it's also when Dexter is scheduled to come back.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Yeah after some research on IMDB I see that none of the episodes have air dates, so Brent was incorrect Season 4 is not on the air yet :D

Does anyone know when Entourage is coming back...I thought I heard it was but HBO has not been pimping it like they usually do.

They have too many storylines right now and really need to reign it in. I can see them wrapping up a few loose ends in a couple shows and then focus on the new season arc...hopefully.
