He did, but his staff gets roughly 40k average (after taxes) of severance. (12 Mil to approximately 200 staff members) Is $40k worth uprooting NYC to go to LA for seven months? I thought he was trying for a little heftier payout for his staff? At least he offered to supplement the payout to his staff with his own cash.

That $40K will get taxed heavily, an extra 25% or so on top of the taxes that already get taken out.

Robin Williams was his usual insane self on Conan tonight, but he put it over the top (in a good way) with his impromptu pirate song where be brandished double middle fingers singing, "F-ck the bastard(s) they can't take a joke!"

That was pretty good.

Plus, anything that involves Conan's bizarro Irish dancing is good by me.

Also: Mine That Bird in a mink Snuggie watching restricted Super Bowl footage was hilarious.

Conan and Andy's sardonic depression has made for fantastic television this week. Fox is going to score a home run with those guys.
