TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

And for more reasons than just seeing how your streaming content or the Internet look in other countries.

Use an obfuscated server though. One caveat - YouTube/Google is very good at detecting and flagging any VPN usage (even obfuscated) as "bot" activity and demanding a login. Tough to be truly anon on their stack.

When I was down in Costa Rica, and our daughter went to bed, my wife and I would fire up Netflix. It was genuinely surprising to see some of the shows available there. Also, some shows had the text on the various road signs switch to Spanish. It became a game to find the differences.
I love setting my location as Liverpool with postal code L4 0RQ (Anfield) and watching stuff on the BBC or ITV. Great movies and TV shows, and sports coverage that is far superior to anything we have domestically. It's actually law in the UK that the World Cups are on free TV rather than cable or hidden behind a paywall. That and the Australian feed for the Olympics are outstanding.

Caught the last couple minutes of this Three Stooges.

The "acting" by Lady Godiva could be the single worst performance I've ever seen on film.

I'm betting she is either thinking "I went to fucking Julliard for this?", strung out, or protesting being raped on the casting couch by the producer.

Got a few more seasons finished before the world blows up
Something Very Bad is going to happen started off well, didn't hold up through entire series, but still enjoyable enough, and different. I hate the lead actor, I hated him in White Lotus season 2 also.

Shrinking really felt off this season. Poor writing.

A Spy Among Friends. A 2022 6-episode BBC series with Guy Pearce, Damian Lewis and an amazing performance by Anna Maxwell Martin. No hyperbole it's one of the best series I've ever watched and do not hesitate to recommend. Brilliantly shot, wonderful direction, terrific dialogue and filled with actors at their peak. Based upon real events.

In England in 1963, Nicholas Elliott works for MI6 as an intelligence officer but is left in turmoil when he learns his close friend and colleague, Kim Philby, had been secretly working as a double agent for the KGB, defecting to the Soviet Union.

I'm through 2 episodes of Something Very Bad. I am put off, as usual, by Jennifer Jason Leigh's caricature acting. We've now seen this same character several times and it wore thin even the first time, like an annoying SNL character.

Camila Morrone's basic bitch isn't anything I care for IRL or fiction. I would enjoy the something very bad happening to her.

Ted Levine is the only person in the cast who was asked to act. The rest are one-joke "wacky" atmospherics vehicles. Compare how Fargo does the same job but still gives you depth and some humanness. In comparison, this writing is tissue paper.

Psychological horror absorbs me, and really gets to me, when characters are full and you feel for them. Like The Witch. Something Very Bad keeps ironic distance. Like Midsommar. Good. Reality is horror enough now.
