TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

Wait sorry, no they're not even whiter than the lead actress from Dark Winds, and even she has Chinese and Cree lineage.

Also not sure how dark you think the average Polynesian to be...

Watched the first episode of Alien: Earth Tues night(taped the 2nd). It was pretty good.

Expecting Creeping Meatballism but hoping to be wrong.

The concept appears to be brat searches for lost sibling brat during The Incident. I don't care about the tawdry cliche derp that has passed for "human interest" since the 1940s (I fast forward through all Family Tension scenes in SF and horror in American TV & movies for a reason) so for now I'm avoiding it.

Rewatching Mr. Robot. Holy shit S1 is even more amazing when You Know You Know.

How'd they ever get something so smart made? It's a work of art.

Television’s MSNBC news network is changing its name to My Source News Opinion World, or MS NOW for short, as part of its corporate divorce from NBC.
The network, which appeals to liberal audiences with a stable of personalities including Rachel Maddow, Ari Melber and Nicole Wallace, has been building its own separate news division from NBC News. It will also remove NBC’s peacock symbol from its logo as part of the change, which will take effect later this year.

I like the part where they say Liberals watch it!
I think you would be surprised. A lot of older Liberals do watch it, particular older women liberals on the East Coast. Everybody's undergrad educated mom swears by Our Lady Rachel.

Leftists are still, at most, only about 10%* of the population. Liberals are 40%. You aren't going to go broke appealing to Gavin Newsom or Cory Booker.

* What about in the Midwest? Serious question. From outside it looks like 1%, but the most oppressive places often also have the most organized and informed resistance so for all I know there may be 60% MAGAts, 1% Liberals, and 39% CPUSA out there.

The good news is, it probably can’t appeal to less people than it does now!

Still SOMEHOW overwhelmed by the Big Three. My god, how?!

That black line is average per, not total. The total is THREE TIMES that line. Just think about that. Think about the alt reality those people occupy, where there is no news, left or right, there is only a holding pen funneling them to the next ad.

If you add together CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and each of the big 3, you get about 18 million, if I'm reading the chart right. Let's say 70 million of the 340 million in the US are under the age of 18 (although presumably still capable of consuming news). 252 million with no news at all, or from social media? That's what I call alternative reality. I think I'd worry about those 250 million rather than the 12 or 13 million waiting for Cronkite to show up again.
