Yes. Love it.

I was screaming at the TV during the heartfelt speech about Sputnik and Greatest Game but of course he gets away with it because he's talking to nerds. I loved it when Cameron called him on it the next morning. Love this show.

The great thing about Netflix is the ability to watch as many episodes in a row that you want. The terrible thing about Netflix is the ability to watch as many episodes in a row that you want, because I now have to wait another 51 weeks for Orange is the New Black to get new episodes.

It's one of the few shows my wife and I both like so I made her promise to only watch 1 or maybe 2 episodes a night so we can make it last and share something instead of binge watching it in like 3 nights.

So converting her to a Game of Thrones fan hasn't worked out? :p

I'm lucky, my fiance and I have quite a few shows that we both like. Orange is the New Black is not one of them, she does not like it. But we watched Breaking Bad and True Detective, we are watching Fargo and GoT now. So that is 4 in the last year. I also put up with some of her stuff....like Breaking Amish (seriously) and she tries new shows that I am interested in, like Halt and Catch Fire. So it works out well.

We had Breaking Bad and How I Met Your Mother...now we have Suits, Orange is the New Black, and trying to get Halt and Catch Fire but I wish we could get an HBO show...couldn't get her into the Wire and she doesn't like the historical feel of Game of Thrones or a show like Turn.

For an HBO show, try The Leftovers when that starts later this month. It looks good.

Cameron might be the single greatest new TV character. The last one was Elsbeth Tascioni.

Got Disc 1 (of 3) from Netflix for True Detective. Wayyyy slower paced than Mad Men, but much more engaging. I had seen the 1st ep at bbdl's, but that was Gopher Title (attempt) Day, so my mind was elsewhere, and I didn't retain anything. However, that's probably a good thing, because this series is so nuanced, I just need to be alone and concentrate on all of it.

As for Rubette, she's into Orange, and together we had Breaking, and are into Sons. She's seen an ep or two of Justified, and liked it, so maybe sometime she'll burn through the series.

Anyone watch Steve Carell's show Riot? Sounds like it just got pulled. It was terrible which is strange considering the star power behind it and the guest stars. The game they did on the tilted stage was amusing for the first one or two but even that got old. The rest of the show was pretty much "Who'd Line is it Anyways" where they didn't try as hard and had really stupid gimmicks like the bungee cord game.

I had never even heard of the show until now. So no, I've not been watching it.

You should see some of the Whose Line outtakes. Those guys would tape for a full day, and then the production team would just edit the best bits into 3 or 4 half-hour episodes. Hence why Ryan Stiles was so sick of Hoedowns - not only was it his least favorite improv game, but they had to do multiple attempts per taping, and that doesn't even count the bloopers and the censors forcing cuts.

Caught the first two episodes of Penny Dreadful on demand yesterday. Liked it enough that I might add it to my record list. But it also seemed kinda reminiscent of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, with a touch of the macabre thrown in.

I planned on giving it a try based upon a few of the actors involved with the show.

I totally remember that. Understandable. Some were good but you're right, he never seemed that into it. But his verses were always pretty good.

Is he still on the new incarnation of that show? I thought I saw one or two without him at all, and he was always there when Drew Carey was hosting.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Pretty sure he is some of the time. He has been doing that show since the 90's back when it was in England  (same with Colin and Greg Proops)
