TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Yeah, I think it's the same room, just at different times. I'm thinking that Woody's character is being interviewed first, based upon the questions they're giving Russ (Rust?).

First episode showed dates; Martin's interview is 2-3 days after Rust's.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

I saw someone suggest that in True Detective, the two guys were being interviewed in different rooms (interrogation room and conference room). It actually looks to be the same room. They are just sitting in different places in each interview.

Yeah, the two detectives are in the same spot, at one end of the table, although they've swapped places, while Rust is at the far end, while Martin is in the middle with his back to the window looking out on the squad room.

They've missed on some of those too. The difference, I think, is that the lighter episodes tend to be filler to round out 24 episodes a year. The heavier episodes are the narrative tentpoles, so there's a little more direction there.

Last night's episode finally felt like they had stopped trying to drag the story out and were getting into the end game.

Exactly. It's starting to bring the story together, finally. Answering some of the questions we were wondering about. Pretty much like Star Wars 3 did to bridge the gap.

Anyone catch the remake episode of Psych? Decent episode but I was wondering if it did go back to an actual episode or plot line from 2006. If so, I didn't remember it or the original episode at all. Anyone rememember it or what was different this time?

Just from the little searching I just did, not sure how closely they followed the original script, but it was the same general plot, but using different actors in the roles, people who have played other parts on the show. Like how they had the medical examiner from LA be Woody. And Ray Wise as the judge and Ralph Macchio as the prosecuter.

The kicker for this episode was how they were complaining about not liking remakes throughout the whole episode. Especially the Dukes of Hazzard and that guy who played the stock car racer.

Yeah...it was funny. Ray Wise wasnt the only Twin Peaks alum on the episode...the guy killed on the show as well. (along with the Psych Twin Peaks Episode)

I loved when Shawn was telling Jules how they end up together :)

As for tonight's episode, Psych did not disappoint. Would definitely like to see more of Woody.

This season of Sherlock was really disappointing. All the meta-jokes got old after a while, culminating in the big meta-joke to end the season. Plus, it's like every time Sherlock isn't on screen, all the other characters have to be saying, "Where's Sherlock".

I watched all of season 1 and season 2 this weekend...Those first 4 episodes were great but it seemed to taper off after that.

I thought the 3rd episode was amazing. I agree episodes 1 and 2 were highly disappointing and stuck up their own rears a bit, especially the 2nd episode, but that 3rd episode was one of the best Sherlock episodes IMO.

The wedding one was 'meh' but last night's was the best of the season. My favorite since the first one of season 2.

Facebook is trending with news that Neil Gaiman has signed up to executive produce American Gods as a TV series, along with Anansi Boys.

I'm not sure if you meant to reference the episode of the Simpsons with Poochie, but well done. And you're absolutely correct too.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Well, 3 episodes into The Following after not having watched it all the first season and I'm enjoying it enough to continue.

I loved the ending to American Horror Story: Coven. It was perfect in my mind. I know there's been lots of complaints but it ended exactly the way it should IMO.

I thought this season of AHS was the weakest of the 3, but the final 2 episodes were great.

I hated large parts of it. I thought the last couple of episodes they finally got back to Witchcraft instead of so much Voodoo and Necromancy which I consider to be different, or at least different in my mind.
