Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

The Black List was epic again last night. Can't wait for the Fall Finale next week.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Well, that's the Governor we all know and love. But I don't get it. He kills Martinez because he doesn't want to be in charge again, but by killing him, he's done away with the only guy there with any leadership qualities(Pete and Mitch didn't impress me much, Jesus how they cried when the zombies were all over them. I bet they weren't really army), pretty much making it a done deal that he'd have to be in charge. Probably deep down that's what he really wanted anyway, and his protestations otherwise were just another act of his.

What's with the buried zombies? Were they done like that so as to make the road impassible for vehicles, why the Guv had to turn back?

As for the Mentalist, yes, lame. I had a hard time believing that this ineffectual guy was the criminal mastermind behind a decade of mystery and serial killings. Just seemed so................small. And done away with so easily. Just a huge letdown. You expect Keyzer Soze and you don't even get Verbal Kint.

HIMYM Last night was fun. Sure, it was hokey, but I just sat back, went with it and really ended up enjoying the show. They did a really good job at keeping a few surprises in the rhyming while making it humorous without being overly crude.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

The Person of Interest 3 week story arc is finished and I have to say that the folks at the Mentalist should take a look at how a criminal organization should be taken down. Awesome.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

The show is done. I was shocked to learn they were going to reveal it so quickly. Then to find out he's revealed and the story is wrapped up in the same episode made it pretty lame. There are still a few lingering questions that would be interesting to know, but are not by any means critical at this point to keep the audience hooked. How he snuck the bird in after being frisked is the only one that bothers me. Or maybe that Jane knew who Red John really was the entire time.

How do they possibly finish up the season without all the regular viewers turning on them?

They left the whole "How did Red John know the final list of suspects?" plot open, but to me it seems fairly likely it was simply someone on the CBI team that's part of the Blake Association. Considering two of the actors are not returning to the show after this season, that would be an easy/cheap way to try to draw in viewership as the season winds down.

Agree with everyone here though, this show is done. Pretty sad really, considering how good it was early on. It's also not 100% that Red John is dead as we haven't seen the aftermath of the whole confrontation yet. If they end up bringing him back...LAME.

We watched part two last night - shocking surprise ending!

Based on the interviews I've seen Red John will never be brought up again. We're moving two years into the future after all.

Walking Dead

Wow.

That is all.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

So... what's up with Judith? Was that blood in the car seat, or what was going on there? I get the reason to not be explicit over what I assume was her death, but all the same I'm a bit confused by what was actually put on screen.

Looked like blood although it leaned towards almost purple. One of the little girls had what looked like purplish paint on her jeans in an earlier scene. Are they trying to throw us off? Maybe.

I assume she's dead though as there are lots of reasons for her to be in terms of moving the story along. Having a baby around complicates every part or a survival situation and with everyone out on their own, a baby will bog things down plot wise.

I don't read the comics and don't like to know what happens in them, but I asked the boy (who reads them) and he said that Judith died at the same time as Lori. Apparently they were both shot, so nothing like the show.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Just got done watching it on the DVR.

Holy balls.

All 3 of us (here) actually cheered when Little Miss Sunshine shot that one chick in the head.

What a great episode. Right up there with Sophia walking out of the barn.

Loved the last 3 episodes. The Gov was such a badass bad guy.

Hope they can keep the mo going.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

I am amused by the social media shock over Hershel's death. It was telegraphed as soon as he made that speech before going in to take care of the sick people in episode 403. It was a given that he would die, and given the show's penchant for making the deaths of main characters especially gory, what happened isn't really a surprise. As soon as the Gov pulled out Michionne's knife it was a given what was going to happen to Hershel.

Speaking of Michionne, after she rescued Rick she disappeared. She wasn't with him when he found Carl or the child seat Judith was in. I wonder where she went.

I wonder now if she has Judith. Only reason I say that is that they had a scene either earlier this year or late last where she was reluctant to hold the baby and finally does and connects.

Wouldn't make sense though that she'd take the baby without trying to also find Rick & Carl coz she'd have to know that they'd be looking. Also, why leave the seat?

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

The Mentalist has jumped the shark. Maybe I'm late to that conclusion and I can accept that point of view.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

We don't know where anyone is on the Walking Dead now. A group in the bus left, I'm not sure who is on the bus, the blond girl, Glen and some other no-names I'm guessing. We have the big black guy and kids running off somewhere. Maggie is with the other girl somewhere. Darryl is who knows, the last we saw of him he blew up the tank. Michonne is who knows, we didn't see her after she killed the Guvna. And Rick and Carl are together running away somewhere. Lots of directions they can go from here.

The bus - Glenn, the kids, redshirts from Woodbury
Maggie, Sasha, Bob (Tyrese?)
Rick, Carl
Daryl?
Beth?
Michionne?
Judith?

What will become of the stragglers from the Governor's camp? Is that why the bus left so suddenly? One (or more) of the leftovers hijacked the bus? Carol is still out there too and I doubt we've seen the last of her. Also there is a rumor that we'll see Morgan at some point in the new season as the character is in at least one episode.

The bonus scene from next season is pretty funny. Carl leading two Walkers away from a house like they were pets. I assume he and Rick get inside the house, because in a scene from the previews, Rick is lying on the couch and Carl is trying desperately (and unsuccessfully) to wake him up.

I don't think the kids are on the bus. The bus took off when Tyrese (is that his name?) and Maggie and Sasha were together. Then Tyrese told the girls to go, he got in trouble with zombie, and the little girl saved him. Then he said run, and the kids ran the wrong way, and he followed them.
