I hear you, but for much of the history of the Olympics, USA & Canada might have had "kids", but East Germany, USSR, and others were far from "Kids", now it is the best-of-the-best.

Maybe, maybe not. Back in 1980 we sent a bunch of college players against what amounted to professionals from the Soviet Bloc countries - and won. That's what made it so special.

Same thing can be said about Basketball in the summer Olympics

No matter what, this has been the best 2 periods of hockey any fan could ask for. Both teams giving everything! Great end to end!

Congrats to the US. Ryan Miller again, was outstanding. He won the game for the US. Now they get a rest until the quarter finals. We have to play Germany and if we win we play Russia.

I guess we have to do it the hard way. By the way, Luongo, should have been in goal and not Brodeur.

Believe it or not, CTV coverage in general has been much better than CBC. I live in Canada and a group of networks got together to produce the Olympics this time. CTV, Sportsnet, TSN, RDS (a consortium).
