Hanowski is still adjusting a bit. It's evident that he is very aware of where to put the puck, makes smooth passes, has a great accurate shot. He's ready to break loose at any moment. Perhaps one of the moments this weekend.

4 years ago, Duluth finished 9th.
3 years ago, Duluth finished 9th.
2 years ago, Duluth finished 8th.
Last year, Duluth finished 7th, a point out of 8th.
And this year, the curse is lifted, and Duluth will no longer finish in 8th or 9th anymore! Hooray! NSSHG, how did you celebrate your team turning the corner? A little drinking perhaps? :)

We need to start a fundraising drive.

Goal: get enough money for a nice hotel room. Or prison cell. Doesn't matter.

Purpose: lock DHG/NSSHG, FTLT, Rabib, and RWD in the same room for an entire SCSU/tUMD series (yes, a tv will be in the room, broadcasting the games; we're not cruel).

Why: I wanna see the result.

I remember the whole UMD bandwagon jumping off en masse right after Junior Lessard and everyone else went pro. Everyone and their mom was calling for Sandelin's head.

There are two things that SCSU fans and UMD fans can agree on. First, we hate Minnesota. Second, we're happy we're not Mankato.

Result: a brief alliance where we plot and execute the murder of Brenthoven, which will initially appear a suicide as he "accidentally" drives his forklift into the path of a semi, but eventually gets pinned on the SCSucks trio as no one believes DHG or I could get along with them, or each other, long enough to pull off such a caper. At his funeral, Goldy mocks all the mourners as they pray.

Oh no. I would be at an undisclosed location, temporarily residing in a place with 20-foot thick steel walls, and a team of highly trained ninja pirate assassins. :p

UMD continues the beatings their football team gave Jan Brady State last weekend with a sweep this weekend. ;) :D


And if there was no such thing as Ninja Pirate's, then what the hell was Chow Yun-Fat doing in the last Pirate's of the Caribbean movie?? :p

The UMD marching band made Champ spin his head at the football game last week. They also did a "SuperChamp" thing complete with the Superman theme, much like SuperGoldy. Then at the hockey game, the pep band did the "So and So is a great big sieve" song. The band program might be infiltrated by Gopher, UMD better watch out for that.

Hence why I call UMD the Junior Gophers.:D SCSU might be a lot of things, but wanna be Gophers is not one of them.:D
