tUMD @ UW (Nov. 19th and 20th)

Re: tUMD @ UW (Nov. 19th and 20th)

Eaves clearly made the right decision. Seriously. His goalies are much better. You give us either one of them and I feel like UMD is the front runner for an NCAA title.

Try to win with class, dogs.

Entertaining series where we once again showed some youth. Badgers can skate with tUMD, but haven't learned how to win these games yet.

Glad it was good clean hockey and as far as the refs go, they were terrible both ways.

Who isn't winning with class.

A) Eaves pulled Crandall's scholarship. He has every right to give a big f-you.
B) Eaves was clearly screaming at the refs again after tonights game. He does nothing but yell at refs. It's always their fault. Anytime you play an eaves team you can gaurantee he is going to spend at least 2 or 3 minutes just pulling the refs over.

I tried to add fans, but was locked out from the server on editing.

You guys just swept and you're gonna gripe about Eaves talking to the refs? After last night?

Yeah, and Gwoz, Hakstol etc never have the refs over for a chat? Whatever.

Not so sober Dog fan, try to win with a little class.

You clearly have 0 idea what class is spanky? There are plenty of people on this message board that could verify if I was being classless, I have done it plenty of times. This time is not one of them. Go cry and use your tears man. Now I'm being classless.

Players and coach's win with class, it is not the fans job to do that. Trash talk is always in play.

Re: tUMD @ UW (Nov. 19th and 20th)

What's this all about? Something happen after the game?

According to Ciskie and Pates, Crandall made a gesture of some sort towards Eaves....what that gesture was exactly has not been disclosed, but I have my ideas. Sandy said that the gesture "has been addressed" and that Crandall apologized to Eaves for it, so hopefully that is done. But yeah NSSHG, I agree, he didn't play all that great, but I think had I been in Crandall's shoes, and swept the team that rescinded the scholarship they offered me, you had better believe I would be giving them the ol' one finger salute.

No. He was wearing his glove and all he did was point at the bench. This is according to Milewski so I trust it.

Re: tUMD @ UW (Nov. 19th and 20th)

A gesture he later personally appologized to Eaves for doing. Why is this even a story?

Well, for me, on the radio Bruce made it sound much worse. All he said was "I'm told that there was some gesturing between Crandall and Eaves" and his tone of voice made it sound like he had done something worse.

Found out later it was just sort of a point or a wave at the bench and was trying to correct what Snipers was insinuating.

Re: tUMD @ UW (Nov. 19th and 20th)

The refs this weekend were aweful both ways. I was back to not understanding what is a penalty and what isn't. One could argue it cost UW Friday night, but UW clearly got away with one earlier in OT while on the forecheck. UW just didn't convert.

I attended the Friday game in section 207 with the family. There were some UMD fans around us. They were very nice and rather quiet. They certainly could have cheered a bit more for thier team. :)
