Dell starts in net again tonight. Surprised by that move...

I'm very surprised by that move. Dell played well last night...perhaps Hak is looking to roll with that momentum. The Sioux are 4-1-0 with Dell in the nets...1-2-1 with Eidsness.

I was pleased with the game last night, thought the Sioux outplayed Duluth. Hopefully they can continue that tonight and sweep a very good Bulldog team.

You assumed that he assumed tUMD was going to win, which he didn't ever say. Did it lessen their chances of winning? Probably. Did it take away a win? No one knows. I doubt it.

Much happier with UMD's performance. Sounds like they were more aggressive than Friday and outplayed the sue for the most of the game. I was fortunate enough to see the last few minutes of the game. Awesome behind the back pass by MCon to Fontaine for the game winner. I wanted a split and we got it! Sounded like an awesome game to attend!

Nobody. I assumed based on the news reports I read. Genoways comments after losing, Sandelin's comments etc etc.

The did not capitalize on many chances.... overall I would say that it was fairly matched up most of the night. I was at the game and it certainly didn't look to me that Duluth controlled the game.

Well at least in SOG (which can be very misleading) UMD led in the first two periods. Which would indictate they had more chances...

But fair enough. Your comment is indictiative of the final score of an overtime game.

There were times that Duluth controlled the game, and there were times that UND controlled the game. There were also some times that it was outright sloppy. In my opinion, the game was even, but Duluth made the play that they needed to to win the game. As you said, UND had some chances as well, including one that nearly ended it about 15 seconds before Duluth's goal. They didn't capitalize though, and Duluth did, so kudos to the Bulldogs. They have our number in overtime lately. As for the series, it was an even series as well. The split was fair to both sides, as they each deserved two points. It also makes the game on December 30th a little more important come pairwise time.

Have you not read the UMD/UND thread on tPB? There's plenty of whining going on about that Fontaine penalty in the 3rd.

To be fair the people on SS are MOST delusional of all Sue fans. Since Sue fans are already delusional it creates quite the combination.
