I think the Gophers football team would present a better match-up against UMD's football team than the battle of our hockey teams; even still, I think UMD would prevail in that game too. Maybe Jerry Kill is just waiting for the UMD head coaching position to open up so he can continue his upward ascent in the coaching ranks?

Well that's convenient because we can't stop anyone on the power play. Of course neither can Minnesota, but it really doesn't matter because both teams average only a few penalties a game. In conference play UMD and Minnesota are 11th (11.6 min) and 12th (10.2 min), respectively, in the penalty department.

I don't think so. At least for this season, UMTC isn't really worth getting all worked up about. Jan does, because Jan's envious of BOTH our programs. Hell, they're probably jealous of Mansucko and Bemidji also.
