One of the most storied rivalries in all of D3 hockey is about 40 minutes away from writing the 145th chapter at the Chip Kenyon '85 Arena.

Liam Moorfield-Yee will be in the net tonight for Middlebury and Norwich will counter with Chris Czarnota.

Should be fun! Not quite the crowds of the early 2000's for this one yet.

It is. I'd guesstimate around 1000-1200

12:30 left in first. Norwich still looking for first shot. Middlebury leads shots 2-0 but game is scoreless.

Czarnota looks to be having trouble locating the puck early. A couple shots have gone wide that he has never even seen. But Kyle Thomas does a great job finding Cotnoir on the doorstep for an easy tap in goal and its 1-0 Norwich!

Norwich's Pier-Olivier Cotnoir has not returned to the game since being checked into the boards head first with his back to the ice in the early moments of the second period.

He is just sitting on the bench but has not returned. No athletic trainer near him.

I hate to say it, but second periods have not been Norwich's strength lately. Czarnota trying his best to get a second save to stop the Middlebury goal but no luck. Norwich needs to stop turning the puck over.
Hope Pierre is okay, nasty hit into the boards.

Crowd has filled in a little more...students have shown up a little bit. I'd say between 1500 and 1600 now.
