And those are districts. In charge of more than one school. Pretty sure if I remember correctly, some charter school in PA that went **** up because they were grifting and not educating, the top administrator for the one school was making more than the top guy on this list. Like $100 grand more.

Yeah, sure, it's fine if local schools teach bullsh1t like "intelligent design". Or if they have a section in their "Cultures" course about World Religions that teaches that SCAAAAARY Islam is a death cult run by terrorists. :rolleyes:

Again, easy solution to that- fund the system so that you don't NEED federal funds. Done.

Instead, cuts are made, and we pretend that "for profit" companies can teach better, rail over education decline, then complain that we are being held hostage for funds.

The only reason the Feds ever had to step in is because states have decided that they don't want to properly do their responsibility to all.

If that's the case, if there were millions of illegal votes, I guess we need a recount then.

He's just trying to deflect from the newest NYT article on his conflicts of interest. He conveniently didn't have anything to say about the recount until after that was published.

Not sure which side of the equation scares me more: that Trump says childish, stupid things only because he knows there are enough people in this country who will buy it, or that it might not be an act. All the false equivalencies in the world do not make it any less scary.

This should scare everyone. A US president alleging millions of voters casting illegal ballots. After he's already won.

I figured I would post this in here. NYT is offering 50% off all subscriptions today (maybe longer, but I have no idea). Basic digital access is $7.50 a month and home delivery starts at something like $18.80 a month.

It's a good story. NPR also ran it on their show last week.

This part was amusing: "We’ve tried to do similar things to liberals. It just has never worked, it never takes off. You’ll get debunked within the first two comments and then the whole thing just kind of fizzles out."

Donald Trump was the burn it down nominee...and he'll be the burn it down president. The country's long term welfare is secondary.

Running businesses into bankruptcy when they go south is a sound strategy if you do not much care about the lives you affect.
