George W. Bush didn't count money spent on the Iraq war in his budgets. Obama put it all in there. It's called being accountable vs. not being accountable. American's much prefer the latter.

Help with what? I helped with getting the Supreme Court to where it needed to be and that's now lost for my lifetime. There's nothing to help with anymore.

News stories indicate that President-Elect Trump is considering Eva Moskowitz and Michelle Rhee for Secretary of Education. Either choice would be a clear signal that he means it when he says he wants to help inner-city children escape from a failing public school system into an educational system that has been proven to deliver superior results.

Trump said outright that improved elementary school education is the civil rights issue of our time.

May be, but it was sourced by a Republican house and senate. Although is specifies that it applies to Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

I was looking for things Obama specifically did, not that the two sides ganged up to do.

yeah, and both of you were so accurate with your election predictions, too. I am still kicking myself for chickening out on my original 279-259 call on this Board in favor of Trump. Oh, well, at least my Iowa Electronic Futures Exchange purchases profited handsomely.

I wish there were a way for us to place bets on this one, but the mechanics, along with actually keeping track over four years, seem daunting.

It seems that a great number of people have significant difficulty distinguishing between what a person expects to happen compared to what a person wants to happen. I may want a warm sunny day, but if the weather forecast says cold and rainy, I'm wearing a windbreaker and carrying an umbrella, no matter how much I might want something different.

SCOTUS is not lost for our lifetime. The Orangutan gets one nomination and he'll put up some primordial as-swipe to take Scalia's seat. A missed opportunity but after all Fat Tony's death was a gift from the gods and nothing we could have depended on.

RBG and Breyer stay nailed to their seats. Kennedy stays because he can be a drama queen again.

If we do our job 4 years from now, we get to immediately replace those three and perhaps even Your Honor Pubic Hair. And then the Court sits 6-3 good guys for a decade or more.

Obama oversaw a 7-year recovery which the baboons will promptly destroy with their equivalent of financial market fracking. With the economy in a shambles in 2020 we'll win the census election. There will probably already have been a 2-year civil war going on between GOP loyalists trying to save the party and Trumpkin Dumpkins blindly following Molessolini.

Yeah I posted the rumor yesterday about her. All the teachers hated her but other than that I am sure she is a great choice :rolleyes:

Who cares what teachers think anyways...according tot he GOP they are just money grubbing lazy *****s anyways...
