Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

Really, you think papa murphy's is bad? Out of the 4 listed I like papa murphy's the best. Followed by Papa Johns, then the new Dominos and lastly Pizza Hut. I've never liked pizza hut, don't know why, but I just don't like it.

Obviously Broadway blows them all out of the water.

You forget that Brent's oven explodes or something if he tries turning it on, so he has to eat Papa Murphy's pizza uncooked.

You know who else is really good? Cheetah Pizza. At least the one that's downtown Mpls.

The OC has pretty good pizza as well.

OC does. Deep dish only, like Broadway is thin crust only.

PM's is just too greasy. Never thought I'd ever say such a thing, but...

Ah, that would explain it. The crust sucks if you don't bake it.

I like OC's pizza, and Green Mill for that matter.

My favorite pizza is at the bar by my family's cabin, in Breezy Point. Garbage pizza, mmmmm so good! :D

Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

I am a fan of Sammy's Pizza, and the Pizza Factory in New Brighton is pretty dang good.

Just listing things that have not been mentioned.

Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

In Boston :p (and NH).

In fact, I was just having a discussion about this on facebook. Is it possible to send food through the mail?
Yep, you can mail food. You'll want to freeze it and pack it in a styrofoam cooler, possibly with dry ice.

Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

Would anyone be interested making a summer weekend trip "up north"? I was thinking if we got 6 people or so to go with, it would probably be pretty cheap. We could get a room/cabin at one of the resorts, I'm thinking around the area just north of Brainerd, since that is the area I'm familiar with. Breezy Point Resort would probably be the cheapest. People that want to fish could do that, others could golf, then we could all go drinking in the evening. I think it would be a pretty fun time, and just trying to gauge interest.

I'd rather do something fun, like stab my own eyes out with a rusty spoon. :)

No interest. Don't golf (have you SEEN my "clubs"?), don't fish.

I love "Up North." I'm not super outdoorsy but I love getting up there and giving it a go.

I love it up there too. Just to clarify, it probably wouldn't be outdoorsy, it would be more staying at a hotel, with plenty of bars nearby, next to a lake. :p

I wish I could say we could just go to my family's cabin, but my grandpa's new wife is way too anal retentive about that for it to work.

Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

I'm just hoping we actually get summer weather this year. Last summer blew in terms of weather--one week of 80's, and then for the rest of it we barely broke 70.
