Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...
Hello new TRP thread.
Hello new TRP thread.
So last summer, I went to a Yankee game with a friend. While we were there, we ran into a couple of other friends of mine, and while we were all talking we had our picture taken by one of those official photographers where you can view your picture online, order prints, that sort of thing. When they take your picture, they give you a card that tells you what number gallery your picture is in, and then you go online and browse the gallery and that's how you find your picture. I'm trying to clear up some clutter around the apartment, and I found this card and decided to take a look at the pictures online and see whether I might want to get a print or a digital copy before I throw the card away. Do you know how much they want for a digital download of a single picture? A digital download that costs them pennies, if that? They are offering digital downloads for sixty dollars. Six-zero sixty. Dollars. For a digital download.
I don't even know what to say.
Well right, I know how to do a screencap (they don't enable copying), but it's the principle of the thing. YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.The Wild/Xcel at F5 do that. BPH and I got our pic taken. I just rightclicked copied. Job done.![]()

Use Unigraphics and then come back and talk. I partly blame Unigraphics for the reason GM is in the ****ter
I know that trick too, but it doesn't work here. You don't need to right click. Just get the page info from firefox and click to the media tab. You can download your picture that way.

IDEAS. Shoot me.Pro/E is fun.
IDEAS. Shoot me.
I don't use it anymore, but it was the solid modeling program that was taught at Tech when I was there. I believe they changed to Unigraphics the year after I took the class. I don't have to use any solid modeling with the work I'm doing now, but my company uses PRO-E.Where do you use it? I used to be certified to teach I-DEAS Administration. SolidWorks is pretty much all I deal with now. Instructor for SolidWorks Enterprise PDM at the moment.
