Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

There's a saying that goes "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." Okay. How about "Nobody should throw stones." That's crappy behavior. My policy is: "No stone throwing regardless of housing situation." Don't do it. There is one exception though. If you're trapped in a glass house, and you have a stone, then throw it. What are you, an idiot? So maybe it's "Only people in glass houses should throw stones, provided they are trapped in the house with a stone." It's a little longer, but yeah.

...

What?

Shouldn't DL flirting with someone scare them away?

It didn't work with you. ;)

Apparently there was a master password to Facebook that allowed FB employee's to view EVERYONE's profile, irregardless of privacy settings.

That password? "Chuck Norris"

No. Seriously.

Rumpus: You’ve previously mentioned a master password, which you no longer use.

Employee: I’m not sure when exactly it was deprecated, but we did have a master password at one point where you could type in any user’s user ID, and then the password. I’m not going to give you the exact password, but with upper and lower case, symbols, numbers, all of the above, it spelled out ‘Chuck Norris,’ more or less. It was pretty fantastic.

You should also be able to throw stones at people who don't have credit cards.

I'm safe then. I now have a credit card (needed one for Netflix). :p

Illinois has similar; the only identifying markings are a license plate ring that says "Illinois State Police" on regular Lincoln plates, and the extra radio whips on the back decklid.

I would assume the Minnesota cars also carry the extra whips. Not that that specific identifier can be spotted at night.

If you ever see a plain car that you're unsure of, look for (and count) the whips. :p

The Charger I saw didn't have any extra whips, and I don't believe most of the unmarked ones in the suburbs have extra whips.
