I think those of us who don't know this waitress need to see pictures to determine who's right.

You were at Reids, she's the little blonde one that was working on the other side of the bar after the championship game.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

I'm in for Saturday, assuming I am still physically functioning. Friday I wouldn't count on it.

As mentioned in the rep thread, I've worked 23 hours in the past two days, and it's not looking like it's going to improve for a while. Had a 9am-9pm shift tonight. Yeah. And we will be missing 2-3 people on Friday that we had today, so it actually could be worse.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

He's rated about where he should be. His albums have generally had 1-2 parody gems ("Fat", "Smells Like Nirvana", "Amish Paradise"), and then everything else is pretty average.

This. Every now and then he hits it out of the park. Otherwise? Meh.
That being said, there are some legitimately talented musicians in play there.

Cool, I think the plans with the girl may end up being going out in a group of friends. So I need to find people that can go out, so i'm not stuck with just her and her friends. This means that you might have to talk to some of her friends, they might be female and attractive.

I can handle that....:)

Quiet from the peanut gallery....

I'd offer to help, but I will probably not be functional Friday night (doing a 50 mile-plus ride in the morning).

For me, it's the fact that he can do just about any style of music, and make it sound good. Pop? Check. Rap? Check (All About The Pentiums is a HR, IMO). Polka? Obviously. Medleys? Grunge? Soft rock? Check, check, check.

And a bonus: he keeps it clean. Yes, I know that goes against my reputation, but for an artist to be that successful covering the current (at the time) hits...that's pretty darn good.

Of course, and I have said it before, there's only room enough in this world for one Weird Al. (for the locals, the band Hairball comes to mind; awesome, until they do parodies).

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

Waitress from Tom Reids wants to do something this Friday. Yay for getting more than 20 minutes notice! Hopefully it works out, this girl seems pretty awesome.

Was that the one who gave me a fake name? Sounds like she has terrible taste. Good luck. :)

I don't remember noticing her, but I was sick and pretty out of it so that's not really a reflection on her.

And she wasn't around where our group was most of the night, because she covered the back room area on the way out to the patio. It would have been pretty easy to miss her, I guess.
