I didn't know you could find a hipster out in that part of the woods.

I still see 10 Kindles for every iPad on the train... and I don't really see the Kindles either. When the DC twits aren't using their toys you can tell they aren't that popular.

Looks like it was a good night for people named Josh (which IIRC you also are); I had a nice conversation with a very cute woman at my friend's birthday party and will give her a call sometime soon. :D

Playing with liquor was actually disallowed in our pong games. You could have whatever you wanted for your "side beer", but no liquor in game cups. They finally allowed wine after a while, which was not the best idea...

Yep. We finished off some Wild Turkey that way; after about three games with crappy ice beer, it seemed like a great idea. Whoops!

While I sat out the following trip, thank God (one of my buddies was temporarily arrested for murder; he fit the description of the suspect), a couple buddies mixed, in a gallon-sized milk jug: vodka/redbull. And made it the "car roadie" headed to Stillwater to the bars. :eek:

I know I've played WOP Pong, and while I wasn't there for the occasion, DormRat and some of the other Huskies Pep Band clarinets (possibly Twitch Boy) played Rum Pong at least once upon a time. :o

It was so disappointing going back to school last year and finding that they don't even use beer anymore, they fill them with water and take a sip of beer if a ball goes in a cup. Kids these day have no idea how to drink decently. Embarrassing.

My softball team won our championship today. Fourth day in a row in the 90+ heat to get here.

I drank the coldest Coors Light after I've ever had.





I'm heading to Long Island tomorrow evening. Hopefully it isn't too hurricane-y.

3 days of rain last week "compressed" our playoff schedule. 5 games in 8 days. Sure, it's just softball. But it's friggin hot out. And we're old, feeble beer drinkers who want to get out of work early.

Psshhh. I've played 4 games in 1 day, 3 games in 1 day (multiple times) and a personal best 9 games in one day (those were all back-to-back).
