So I'm now able to view the regular USCHO site. My iPhone is jailbroken and I found out about an app in Cydia called, what else, User Agent Faker. You can also install an SBS toggle, which makes it convenient to quickly turn on and off.

iphones are dumb, why the hell would they make people go through that crap just to see a normal website? I was able to see regular websites within 2 minutes of starting up my droid or blackberry for the first time.

Actually it's USCHO's doing. When you set up a website you can tailor it to specific user agents. USCHO programmer the site to only show the mobile version with an iPhone. ESPN has it default to the mobile version but has a link to change it to the full site at the bottom.

Laziness or apathy, this Is only fixable by USCHO.

No, it still is USCHO's problem. They have the site setup to to default to the mobile for an apple mobile user agent. Other phones have a different user agent that USCHO doesn't default to the mobile site.

Apple has no control over how sites interpret their user agent and then format the website for them.

Just to make sure you don't think I'm some retarded fanboi, I hate apple, this is the only apple product I'll ever buy.

It does the same fraking thing on an iPad. Yes, I am dating someone that owns an iPad. I sit in the box and I feel shame.
I can honestly say that I have never purchased an Apple product. My first iPod shuffle was a Christmas gift. The second was FM's old one we found at his parents' house that he never used anymore. And now, my iPod Touch is his old one he passed on to me once he ordered the iPad. Honestly, I feel no desire to have an iPhone, or a Blackberry for that matter. When I want a phone, I just want a phone. Calls, texts, maybe a camera. That's it.

I can't figure out why anyone would want to read a mobile site anyway, they're always ****ty.
