Truth be told, I'm hoping to go to Detroit this year, then see what all this F4 business is about. I can't make any promises, though, because my travel partner has an attendance streak going for the F5, and isn't always as good of a sport as his significant other.

No reason he can't skip the Final Five once in his life, especially since Tech won't be there. Tell him to think of it as a learning experience; once he sees how crappy the CCHA F4 is, he'll realize just how good the WCHA has it. ;)

Detroit was last year. It's in Minneapolis this year.

The CCHA Championship is crappy? The free booze from the fan-fest party (paid for by the CCHA) must have blocked that from my memory. :p :D

Yeah, jmh. I'm well aware that Detroit was last year. However, the CCHA Championship is still in Detroit, as it is every year. That's what I was talking about when I said I was hoping to go to Detroit.
Isn't the F4 in St. Paul this year anyway? ;)

Offhandedly asked the bartender to go out on Friday and she said yes and gave me her number. We'll see how that goes, as I didn't really expect a positive response. :eek:

Slow at work, they put the voluntary time off list out (to let people out early). Guess how many people left early, and guess when I left, even though I was first in seniority that signed up?









No one left early, and I was the last to leave the building besides the boss. And got 15 minutes OT. :rolleyes:

This bodes well for tomorrow or Fri. If I can get 40 hours and still leave early? That'd be swell.

I remember that. So it's seconded.

And the F5 happens every year here. This year, it's the warmup to the real thing. If you read GLM's blog before he went bigtime, there would be no question.
