So I get to bbdl's last night, and find that we only have a couple logs of wood, and it's pretty much pitch black in his yard, er I mean, small clearing in the woods.

So I start up a small fire, and he takes his ATV, and starts felling trees and dragging them out, while I chop them up, so we have more fuel for the fire. We actually didn't do too bad. Got the fire hot enough to melt some beer bottles, anyway, and the fire went for a good 6 hours.

Yes, jmh, we are more manly than you. :p

Why? Because instead of buying logs, of which bbdl has many dead trees for that, we just did it ourselves? Hey, that saved money for more beer. That right there is being fiscally responsible. :p

A lot of you easterners just don't get the satisfaction of a good campfire on a fall night, with all materials provided by yourself. :cool:
