Sorry, it's my home airport, it's not like I go there for dinner. :o

Let me know if you ever get stuck overnight in Charlotte and have a car, I'll give you some recommendations on restaurants outside of the airport.

Sign of how much the team is loved in Charlotte, this was posted on FB by one of my friends from down there:

Training at Panthers stadium was delayed after a player found an unknown white powdery substance on the ground. Training was suspended while police and Homeland Security was called in. After analysis, experts determined thatthe white substance, unfamiliar to most of the players, was in fact.. the goal line. Practice will resume tomorrow after they decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again!

don't you know that all the hip sustainable types are raising their own chickens... granted some of them may not understand that you'll have to grab them by the neck and throw them against a telephone pole at some point, but they're doing it.

Nah, don't bow hunt, I don't have the patience and I like the loud noises and kick that comes with guns. I've target shot bows before, but I've always shot other people's bows, don't have my own. I want to get a rifle to shoot, but I shouldn't spend money on one now, so I'll stick to trap for now.

Actually, my blue-collar, red-state family has been raising chickens for almost 2 years now. Granted, it's more for the eggs than for meat, but it's not just hippies doing that kind of stuff.
